A Beautiful Face: Makeup 101

Enjoy an informative, fun filled, and interactive makeup class taught by Professional Makeup Artist, Alexandra Butler. 

In this class you will experience a live makeup application demonstration by Alex as well as a step-by-step lesson on how to take your makeup to the next level.

Things covered in this class will be:

• Proper tools and techniques to use during your makeup routine
• Precise eye shadow placement and blending, including a false eyelash demonstration and details on perfecting your brows
• Color correcting and blending when applying foundation and concealer
• Correct instruction on placement and selection of products used on the face 
• Various tips and tricks to make your makeup application successful and even more beautiful

Not only will you be taught the correct way to apply your makeup, but you will also recieve an exclusive Makeup Swag Bag filled with Beauty "Must-Haves" hand picked by Alex. This bag will contain over $100 worth of products that will be a great start or addition to your makeup kit.

 Our Host, Eclectic Gal Boutique...

Owners Christine Miller and Shahnaz Hughson were gracious enough to allow us to hold this event at their BEAUTIFUL store in Atlantic Station. With beautiful finds that come from all over the world, their pieces will cause you to instantly stand out in a crowd and the price point leaves you feeling as if you've received one hell of a deal. Any style of woman will be able to find a staple piece here in this Boutique, no one ever walks away empty handed.

Eclectic Gal Boutique is in Atlantic Station and is located across the street from The Gap (Atlantic Dr. and 18th Street.) For self parking, the first two hours of parking are free and the nearest stairwell is 8. Self Parking for 2-3 hours is $4, 3-4 hours is $6, and 4-5 hours is $8. If you would prefer "Front Row Parking," the fee is $5 for 0-6 hours.  

Celebrity Chef Angela Gorham of Lifestyle Cuisine...

We will have the distinct pleasure of delighting in the tasty hors d'oeuvres created by Celebrity Chef, Angela Gorham of Lifestyle Cuisine. Lifestyle Cuisine was featured in Essence Magazine & Upscale Magazine and specializes in providing healthy meals that taste and look delicious. Chef Angela works with a wide range of clientele and provides alternatives based on the schedules and tastes of her clients.

Cocktail Cupcakes :) 

Cocktail Cupcakes, and owner Brittany Wyatt, will be featuring some of their delicious cocktail infused cupcakes. Cocktail Cupcakes is a delivery only bakery that specializes in cupcakes that are individully inspired by everyone's favorite "Happy Hour" drink. Favorites include Strawberry Daiquiri, Mojito, Bailey's Irish Cream, Cosmopolitan, Chocolate Martini, Margarita, and many more!!! 

A syllabus will be provided, but to take additional notes feel free to bring a notebook and something hard to right on since there will be no tables. If you would like to take pictures, don't forget to bring your camera. Professional Photographer Edwin Collier will be there to take candid/posed shots.

PLEASE READ: To ensure that everyone gets an equal amount of time to ask questions and socialize, the class is limited to 50 people. The price of $150 is only available to those who purchase their tickets by March 26th. So if you snooze, you lose. $170 tickets will be on sale for those who purchase their tickets after March 26th and up until April 8th. Once you have purchased your ticket, and for some reason you have to cancel, 50% of your payment will be refunded back to you if you cancel by April 14. If you cancel after April 14, you will NOT be refunded due to the costs accrued when reserving your spot. No exceptions! Due to cancellations, if tickets are available after the intial 50 tickets are bought, we will reopen the event for that limited quantity and notify everyone on the mailing list.

There will be special giveaways and prizes, in addition to  "Swag Bags" that will be given to everyone who attends. Light refreshments will be served as well.
